1/500 USN aircraft

Currently there is producer who makes USN WWII aircraft in the 1/500 scale. Carrier aircraft such as the wildcat, hellcat, helldiver, and avenger, are needed in the 1/500 scale. People who choose to build the only accurate hull of the Yorktown class carriers have no aircraft options to fill their hangers or flight deck. Despite the odd scale, people still use the kit because of the accurate hull, scratch building here and there to finish the kit. And to finally build an accurate Enterprise or Yorktown or Hornet would be a shame without any planes to go on the decks. Currently the only possible planes are what are included in the Revell kits, either the B-25s for the CV-8 Hornet, or the Northrop BTs included in the Yorktown kit. We need the F4F wildcat, the Sbd Dauntless, the Tbd Devastator, the Tbf Avenger, the F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, and the Sb2c Helldiver. As I understand it, these were previously available here, but have long since been out of production. I recommend reissuing them once again. I believe people will continue to build these Revell kits, as this kit, in some form or anther, has been around for nearly 50 years. Between the GMM photoetch and WEM planes, this kit could we well built, and very much mantle worthy.
