1/350th Loch / Bay class frigate kit
The Loch class were the most sophisticated anti-submarine vessels of WW2 being, arguably, the first ship designed as an integrated weapons system, with weapon, radar, Asdic and control system all designed as an integrated whole, and the ships themselves being made from prefabricated units, many specialised including the Asdic and radar "huts" which were delivered outfitted with their electronics.
A long serving pair of classes with lots of conversion possibilities. The Bay class were modifications of the basic Lochs with added AA guns. Post-war the Lochs were also modified with both classes being used world-wide for patrol duties.
