WEM SERVICE/DELIVERY
I work in customers relations here in Sweden at Nordea Bank, and I refer to you how to provide good custumer relations and your incredible speed of delivery. We try to live up to your standards, but it's hard! Bosse Persson, Sweden
Dear
Team at WEM. Just 10 days after ordering I am faced with a Breathtaking
Sovremenny PE Set 1/200, but also excellent care in detail (catalog,
credit card receipt etc). Nikos Panagiotidis, Greece.
Order sent in 1st August, arrived NZ today 14th. Very impressed with your website, products, packaging and overall efficiency and professionalism. David Frowen, New Zealand.
Dave, I have a complaint. Why did it take only one week for you to ship my order over 3000 miles, and it takes up to a month for me to get my goodies from somewhere in New Jersey? Seriously, I am very happy with the ship time on my order. My hat's off to you and your company for such a quick turn. I will be spreading the good word around to my fellow modelers, and hope to do business sometime in the near future. Derek Juszczyszyn, USA (Click here to see the reason)
COLOURCOATS PAINTS Hi Caroline, Thanks for that info. Have just painted a 1200th Russian DDG in your colours and I have to congratulate you they are excellent and so easy to use. Far superior in my opinion to Humbrol, Revell etc. John W Ellis
"Hi, I'm working on a Revell corvette, and had occasion to use you new WEM paints on part of the engine casing and decking. In a word: "Excellent!" A 1:1 mix with Modelmaster thinners applied at 20psi gave me superb results: smooth finish, dead matte, and total coverage. With a bit of paint left in the cup, I practiced on some scrap plasticard and easily obtained virtually a hair width line with no trouble. This is excellent paint. Best Regards. Gary Barling
"The KM paints arrived
safely and I finished several models
already! The quality is excellent! The best paints on the market!!!"
"I know I am preaching to the choir, but I am finally getting around to using your paints that I bought. These paints are simply magnificent! I was going to airbrush them on, but they are just as advertised satin smooth! Great quality, and great all around. I am glad that I got them." Marvin
Maxson WEM PHOTOETCHED BRASS "Hi John, I thought that I would let you know that my order arrived yesterday in excellent condition. I looked the two articles over and I am very impressed with your company's work. This is the best photo-etched material that I have ever seen. Thanks again for your quick service. Steve Lipke
Thanks - you guys are the best. By the way, I can't say enough how impressed I am with your products. Your service is blindingly fast and the quality is remarkable. I had to put Hood aside and start on Rodney at 1:00 in the morning. Great set! Loads of 20mm's for my other projects. I'm starting to get to my usual state where I bite off more than I can chew (and I know it's wrong) - but my next project will be a KGV update set. Hood is almost done. I'm putting fairleads and doors on. Then I'll finish up the ladders and then...railing. Cheers. Don Murphy
1/700 HMS CHESTER Thought you might like some feedback on the WEM HMS Chester kit.....I have to say, this is an excellent kit, well thought out and designed with some superb moulding and PE parts. I have built her straight out of the box, the only extra being the rigging. In particular, the deck is beautifully moulded, as are the splinter blankets. It almost seems a pity to cover all that detail with paint! HMS Chester is the first WEM kit I have built and is the best resin kit I have built. Rob Kernaghan
1/350 USS REUBEN JAMES 1941 Hello Caroline & John, Just wanted to give a belated thanks for the great job you folks did with the Reuben James kit! I must say it was truly one the BEST kits I've ever seen - fit, detail, instructions - everything is first-rate. A friend's father served on the 2nd Rueben James (DE-153) and was quite impressed as well. I've attached some photos of the finished kit - painted with Colourcoats paints as well, the only change I made was to use some small scale chain for the anchors instead of the etched chain. All the Best. A.J. Owens
"Hi John and Caroline, I received the Reuben James today, and it is a beauty. I have heard the phrase "crisp casting" before, but this is beyond that. To whomever created this, please tell them for me that this is a piece of art. I'm really looking forward to building it.." Frank Lemond
"Caroline, I just opened the package containing the Reuben James. I had to ask myself a couple of questions. 1. Why did I wait so long to discover the world of WEM? 2. How did they make such a thing of beauty. The castings are amazing!, the instructions are a delight. I can only hope that
my efforts are worthy of your efforts. Now comes the hard part--which WEM is my
next project."
"Just a note to say I received my Reuben James kit today. Despite the best efforts of our respective postal services, the kit arrived intact. The kit is absolutely beautiful!! I have already begun fitting it together. Also, thanks for adding a tin of paint to meet the new minimum order requirement. I can always find a use for it. Thanks again for your wonderful models and great service." Doug Fritz
1/350 USS KNOX 1982 First message:
Dear Mr. Snyder,
Second message:
"I used to
order all my ship models from ********, which is just eight miles from where I
live. It would take eight to ten days for their products to arrive. I
have now switched to WEM for all my ship model needs, and you are now my
exclusive supplier. Your service is the best, and John's willingness to
answer question about colors was a big seller. The last time I asked a
question to ******** about a product I was looking for I was told by the sales
person they did not have time to answer it. You now have a customer for life." |
