APPLICATION:

Colourcoats is supplied ready for use for brush application, but can be used with any conventional spray or airbrushes if desired.

When required, two coats of Colourcoats can be applied coat-on-coat. The first coat should be allowed to dry for at least 24 hours, and preferably for 48 hours, before the second coat is applied.

THINNING:

Colourcoats is supplied ready for use for brush application. It will require thinning for spray or airbrush application. The amount of thinner required will be determined by the air pressure available and type of spray gun/airbrush being used. Recommended solvents for thinning is a good quality white spirit or mineral spirit.

Note: Cellulose thinners or methanol should not be used, as they are harmful to health, affect the structure of the paint and can have a destructive effect on previously applied model paint.  Although some reviewers may state they have used cellulose thinners with Colourcoats paint, we can in no way condone the practice due to health & safety considerations.

STORAGE:

Optimum storage temperatures for Colourcoats is from 5C (41F) to 25C (77F).
